Foodtrip #1

Friday, August 12, 2011, 1:46 PM. Our school(Ateneo de Davao University) that time was celebrating our College Fiesta. There were many activities, games, film viewing, exciting events, almost all the enjoyment a student would love for a perfect College fiesta was there. And of course, who would not want to come to school and enjoy the celebration?
My classmate, Iren, and I were on our way to school to have fun and relax our minds from the academic pressure.
Upon entering the school, we saw everybody having fun, a group of students having a chat, and sports players having a match under the scourging heat of the sun. It seems that they are enjoying so much that they don't even care about the hot weather.
Iren and I couldn't stand the heat so we decided to go to Gaisano Mall and buy some refreshments. We ate Halo-halo at Chowking, mine with Chipcharap(that chip on the picture), while Iren ordered a some kind of sweet, bun-like food.(I don't know exactly what was the name of that certain food, but it tastes so good. ^.^)
The meal was really good. And I am planning to go back and order Halo-halo with my bestfriends there. :D

FYDP Synchronized session

Thursday, August 18, 2011. We had our first period in the morning, since it was Thursday, First Year Development Program or FYDP was our first meeting on that day and it was our second time to have a synchronized session with the other first year college sections.
Our lesson then was about the past and the present generations. Our section was assigned on the day before the meeting to make a video presentations, and we were divided into two groups, our group was assigned to make a dramatization about the "Y Generation," while the other group was assigned to have a dramatization for the "X Generation." At the middle of the session our presentations were showed for everybody to see, and we were all surprised because we never thought that the video presentations would be that amazing and very well edited and produced by us, first year students.

After the film viewing and the discussion about the past Generations where the parents of X, Y, and Z Generations children belong, we were asked to make a colorful illustration defining the best traits of our own Generation.

Here are some pictures of my classmates working together to create a nice and expressive illustration about the Y Generation.

Our illustration was a nice piece of art for us because we made it together and we worked hard for it to be nice and expressive enough and to impress our teachers. :)

When boredom strikes...

Another usual day for me. Another plain and boring day. I can't think of any exciting and boredom-remover activities right now. What to do? ~.~
